Seven years ago was the last time i visited the U.S. And now, I'm back!!!! Currently here in the land of California- where the grass is really greener (as Katy Perry's song says). I love California and everything about it except the traffic on the 101 freeway lol.I'll be living the American dream for sometime :)))

Peeking in the world of Chictopia

HI am a big fan of CHICTOPIA. If the word doesn't ring a bell, it is a site where you can showcase your sense of fashion. Where chictopians (the members would call themselves) post their pictures wearing clothes with high style. I love browsing and scavenging through their pictures cause I get a lot of ideas. Sometimes, I purchase clothes inspired by the photos on this site. Very random and unusual, however, sophisticated - that's my kind of style. Here are some pictures I grabbed from the site:

Evian Brumisateur

I have been using this spray for the past months and all I can say is it works as a charm. I love spraying it on my skin especially on the face. I love the feeling of the fine wet particles as it reaches my skin... As the indication on the bottle says, it moisturizes, refreshes and tones. I'm living  living in a country where it's humid all year round, so i spray it every chance i get. It's kind of pricey for a can of "mineral water" but it's really refreshing. All you gotta do is spray it and dab away the wetness with a tissue and voila! you're good to go! :)

White tights??????????

WHITE TIGHTS.

They aren't as trendy as the lacy blacks. I have collections of tights because I love them, but white? You may have at least last worn them when you were 10 or maybe younger or just during the Halloween when your costume requires you to. But for me, I have worn them my entire college! IKR? and white? DUH. Okay, so I am a Nurse and my "Alma Mater" requires it's nursing students to wear white uniform, white tights and white shoes - EVEN in the FREAKING HOT DAYS of summer. So I don't  miss my white tights after all. Anyway, when i was searching for trendy tights on the internet, I stumbled upon Ms. Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl wearing her winter white tights. I just thought it's cute and trendy "IF" you pair it with matching apparels 'cause not all clothes can be paired with it or you'll end up like a maiden from 18th century or worse.

A touch of my dream house

My dream house may not be as exactly the same as it is on the picture but i like how it all came off. I like how it's light, welcoming and simple (which means not over furnished). I love white, i love glass and i love water..  so this is 2 thumbs up.

Grassland

Ok. So I am into grasslands, mountains and wilderness. Like the Julie Andrews' sound of music scenery. I would love to lie down on the grass while listening to music and draw the clouds or just have a picnic instead. I like movie scenes which have the effects of the wind blowing grasses and trees, ranches with horses that are free to run around or even a hut or house in the heart of a forest (even if it's freaky). The bottom line is i like nature. I may not have a green thumb but sure thing i like wildlife.

My boyfriend and I have been away for quite awhile, and a way for us to catch up is by exploiting the world of skype. LOL.

And so one day we were bored and both hungry that he decided to cook pad thai. Ok. I admit that I'm more of an eater than a cook. So what? I don't enjoy cooking as much as eating...
Seeing him like this, he was like the guy version of Rachael Ray teaching me the step by step on how-to.
